I'm sharing another personal project that I've turned around in a short time frame (2 weeks). I wanted to created a portfolio project that explored my career as a journey and takes the end user on a journey with them."DRIVE" is the result, available at https://lnkd.in/eZYwuqGw.This is a small WebGL driving project built using Unity. As the progress through the course, find the signs to learn about my own career journey. Or just race to the end.Intentionally short turn around on this one as I'm creating more projects focussed on business tech, such as Python / AI and Typescript frontends. If you get to the end of the course, take a screen shot and post it in the comments!#unity3d #portfolio #webdeveloper #webgl #game

🌟 Reflections on My Career Journey in Technology 🌟As I reflect on the early stages of my career in technology, I often wonder what advice could have prepared me better for the journey ahead. Here are some key lessons that I believe would have made a significant impact:- Never stop educating yourself.- Work on improving your soft skills.- Dedicate time to building your network.- Concentrate on small improvements often.- Focus on getting things done. Let your results speak for you.In essence, we should be more like Thomas the Tank Engine. 🚂#TechJourney #ContinuousLearning #Networking #SoftSkills #ResultsDriven #ChooChoo

While I'm in the mood for sharing old projects, why not share something newer.I've mostly worked with other platforms, but really wanted to explore Shopify (please don't lambast me Magento guys!).The result is Coder Cave!https://codercave.netThis is a completely functional ecommerce website that sells coding themed clothes and accessories. Everything is completely automated and it provides me a decent platform to play around with and experiment with.I'm unsure if I should try to make something more of this for now, but it was enjoyable learning what was needed to get this set up.Let me know what you think, or feel free to buy something!! 😁

I found an old project!I loved finding this old gem. This was actually my first project that I completed in Unity, this was way back in 2017 / 2018. This was an experiment for me to see if I could get a game published on both major mobile platforms, which was actually successful and had a couple of hundred installs at its peak.Does anyone else have any of these old projects kicking around that still brings a smile to their face!I managed to get it running in webgl, check it out if you dare want to play an incredibly INCREDIBLY basic game, just keep your sound muted, the audio is terrible!https://lnkd.in/egqVA4NF#gamedev #unity #indiedev

Completely agree with this. Most people are on a journey facing their own challenges.

I'm terrible at networking!Coming from a very technical background I've always focused on what I can do instead of building my network and learning the skills to build my network. Something I regret and really need to improve on now more than ever, for a specific reason.I will sadly be leaving my current employer, 036.I've been with 036 for around 3 1/2 years, they have challenged me, and pushed my to progress and educate myself more than ever before. I am incredibly grateful for not only the challenge, but meeting some fantastic individuals that I hope to keep in touch with.As I embark on a new chapter, I recognize the power of my network in shaping my next move. If you're reading this, your support would mean a lot. Here's how you can help:- Endorse one of my skills.- Leave me a recommendation.- Share this post and connect me with potential opportunities in line with my background.Thank you for your continuous support and the opportunities that may come my way. #OpenToWork
