Casson, daughter Patricia Casson, and granddaughter Batya. She is survived by her children Thomas, Ann Christine, John, Mary, James, Justin, Paul, JeanneMarie, their spouses, and fifteen Grandchildren.

Ann Casson was a sensitive and discerning woman; she exemplified, strength and self-sufficiency. was said that of anyone, it was she that had the "moxie" to live beyond cancer. Her stoic nature belied the intensity of her suffering, both emotionally and physically, especially towards her end. Her greatest gifts to this world were her children to whom she dedicated her life. She shared with them her keen sense of humor and quick wit.

She was worldly in her advocacy of the arts. She was well read, always informed. She had a fondness for animals, taking great pleasure from the companionship of her dogs. She was pragmatic in her insistence that her children should stand proudly on their beliefs. There are fond memories of a mother who put her children first, always allowing for the tangibles.
